Holiday entitlement

I have just started work for a new company. Reading through the contract of employment, it states that holidays will be 22 days per year. However, I have looked at several websites and they all say that the statutory minimum amount of holidays is 24 days per year rising to 27 from October this year.
I phoned head office and was told that 22 days (pro rata for part time) was correct.
Anyone know anything either way?
Thanks.

The statutory minimum figure of 24 days includes 8 bank holidays. If you are getting 22 days plus bank holidays then you are getting well above the statutory minimum.
Hi

If you ring a company called ACAS i think there number is 08457474747. They can help answer all type of employement questions. I hope this is helpful.
Your contract should say whether you get bank holidays as well as the 22 days annual leave.
