I want to buy a portable media player that can play tracks that are stored on my PC in Windows Media format (WMA not MP3), I currently have Windows Media Player 9 installed. I am not interested in down loading music from the internet. Can anyone suggest an easy to use player that is not too expensive. I would also like the device to be able to store about 60 tracks.

Go for a 128mb USB memory stick MP3 and WMA player. I got one off ebay a few months back for about 30 I think.

Most of the products on this page should be OK

I got a 256mb mp3/wma player for about 30 off e-bay as well (most mp3 players play .wma files as well).

I convert all my files to 32bit .wma to save space with no obvious quality loss.

The best and cheapest are the USB sticks. A 128mb player will fit nearer 40 songs at default size so you might want to go for a 256mb if you dont want to fuss with a converter program.

I use dBpowerAMP Music Converter by the way.

DON'T get an iPod Shuffle - they wn't play WMA files.
