Can anybody tell me how to uninstall Windows Defender ? It doesn't appear in Add/Remove progs or even in Revo. I'm running Vista Home premium.

you cant its there to uninstall programs and allow you to choose startup programs.
although you cannot uninstall it you can choose to not have it working.go to options and disable them all

Just out of interest, why would you want to uninstall it anyway ?

Hi billysugger (love it !!)
It's on a laptop I bought for my wife and seems to conflict with the AVG I installed. However, I have done what Cleggie suggested and all seems OK.
