how do i apply self tan??

i have 'johnsons holiday skin lotion' and i am really scared that when i apply it it'll go streaky or blotchy... i dont know how much i should apply and how to rub it in so that it'll be even...
please help!

1st of all you need to exfoliate your skin, and then moisturize really well where you are going to apply the holiday skin lotion , make sure you put the holiday skin lotion on evenly all over, wash your hands as soon as youve finished so youre not left with darker hands !

this is the one you use like a moisturiser just use it every day and it gradually builds up so you wont get any patches

Exfoliate & moisturize then apply as you would any other body lotion. Remember to wash your hands immediately afterwards. I found a more natural result was obtained by using every other day. I also prefer Dove to Johnsons,again it seemed a more natural colour on my fair skin. Don't worry too much if you get the odd streak,it does wash off after a couple of days!!
