Do you think it will be Harry and Hermione or Harry and Ron? Why? And what do you think will happen to everyone at the end of book 7?

personally, i know this sounds horribly wrong, but the fact that draco's father goes to Azkaban and the sorting hats new song, about sticking together, makes me think that Draco might become more friendly towards the others. i would really like to see Hermoine and Draco get togther. And, i hate the thought that they are all going to die...i think people around the school may, and possibly some members of the order. Also, at the end of the day, i think it would be extremely wrong of JKR to kill the main characters, especially Harry, Ron and Hermione, due to the fact that the serise is aimed at children. can you imagine the impact that wither of the main three dying would have one most ten year olds. i think that that would be most unfair.

p.s. um, there have been some heavy issues in the 4th and 5th books and do you really think that 10 year olds are all that young i think i read the 4th at that age so come on emmie. and i undersood it all. and i dont think that they will die i agree it would be wrong and do you think that the same guy that thought up weasly is our king and called her a mudblood would go out with hermione{the same mudblood}

That was brilliant thinking, redneckgurl. There cold be a lot of foreshadowing there. IDK. But I really hope nothing happens to Ron(he's my favorite character)or Harry. I think maybe Dumbldore might die after fighting Voldemort. Once again I don't know. I really hope that Ron and Hermione get together. And maybe Harry and Ginny. I don't want Harry to go back with Cho. She's too emotional for him. And Harry(if he lives throught the 7th book. Which I really hope he does) might go for Quidditch. That'd be cool.

Props on the chess game theory redneckgurl, but I hope you're wrong. I don't want any of the main characters to die. Here's my theory about the 6th or 7th book: I think Lucius Malfoy will escape from Azkaban and torture the Dursleys to death so Harry has will have no more relatives with his mother's blood. Then Harry finds out about his living Potter relatives.

think how have alll great book series ended with someone how was there telling my geuss is maybe ron or harry or his son will say so ends a great saga but as for the charecters live harry will find someone settle down and be one of four things an aurar quditch player headmaster of hogwarts or minster of magic or he dies . as for ron harry might die and he will become angry and kill voldomort and become afamous rich and powerful person hermione will become a great schoolar and maybe marry viktor crumb or ron and nevile will become someone of importance and take revenge for his parntes and dobby will be the richest man alive or some thing

I believe that Harry and Hermione will get together. Everyone thinks it will be ron and hermione but maybe thats what JKR is trying to make us think.In Hp G of F Krum is always asking harry if there is anything between harry and hermione, even though harry says they're just friends other poeple see there is something more.Sirius will come back. The mirror will allow harry to do something that will bring his godfather back. Dumbeldore will most likely die in book 7 or one of the main charaters not harry though.we'll just have to wait and see won't we?

Not to be picky, but harry doesnt try to kill belatrix lestrange in the 5th book. he attemps the cruciatus curse, which is completely different. i think harry wont become an auror if he survives, because if he's so disturbed at the thought of having to kill voldemort or die trying, then i doubt he would want to continue killing. i bet he becomes seeker for england!

11. Why do you think Dumbledore trusts Snape could it be that Snape is not really a pure blood?
12. Are Fred and George getting ready for battle? 
13. What gift might Fred and George give Harry for Christmas?
14. Hermione is described; as �You�re the cleverest witch of your age� will she learn to become an Animagus from Rita Skeeter or McGonagall?
15. Will the Dark Lord�s army attach Hogwarts? 
16. Will a goblin become a major player in the next book and could that be Ragnok?
17. Could a major plot for HBP be an attack on Gringotts?
18. Was Harry successful in performing legilimency while taking the History of Magic exam?
19. Could Salizar Slytherin be the HBP?  Might Salizar actually be a half-breed?

Very insightful redneckgirl. I'm impressed. That makes more sense than I care to admit, and though I am now very curious as to whether the chess game does represent something like that (I had never really conisdered it). But also, JKR's little tricks and clues in her previous books tend to be simpler than we percieve. It's one of those type of things where you look at something's complications, but the answer is on the surface somewhere, I think. Still, all the same, that is a very clever theory. I also agree with what kamaro1977 had to say. But then, I think that it is more JKR's writing style to go with the unexpected and kill off Harry. I'm thinking he dies during or after getting rid of Voldy. After all, didn't it say somewhere in the books that Voldy can't die? Voldemort seems to powerful to be killed easily though, so there could be some truth in that Ron or someone else would have to sacrifice themselves for Harry to vanquish Voldemort. I'm pretty sure that no matter who it is, one main character at least will die. I'm really hoping none of the main three (R, H, or HP) will die because Ron and Hermione should end up a couple, and so should Harry and Ginny. Whew! That's a lot of theory!
