I am 17 weeks pregnant and have started to have investigatory treatment for irregular heart beats, although this is not related to my pregnancy the effects of it do impact on my pregnancy ie racing pulse and high blood pressure, my manager wants me to attend occupational health and basically told me I can have time of sick if I have a sick note so no note means i am taking the mick, she has also accused me of demanding time off for all sorts of things, that simply is not true, after returning to work from the docs she called me in her office and started shouting at me bascially accusing me of exploiting my pregnancy and skiving, can she discipline me for an illnes that is not pregnancy related but obviously impacts on my pregnancy, I was not imformed if the meeting before hand nor was I offered the opportunity to bring anyone in with me, although the personnel manager was present. surely she cant be allowed to treat me like this?
