They claim to save around �10 per year per appliance, but if your appliance is new-ish and A rated it will have very little effect.

Thanks Ethel, I din't think my fridge freezer has an A rating. Seen them on Ebay. xxx

Be sure your fridge is compatible before you spend:

IMPORTANT
The Savaplug is not compatible with certain makes and models of fridge and freezer - as a general rule, digital displays, motorised drinks and ice dispensers, or electronic controls are indications of incompatibility.

Hi Ethel, from what I read they are not for 'fridges' only fridge freezers/freezers. My fridge freezer isn't a fancy one, drink dispenser ect... I can't see the point in excess gadgets on an appliance! xxx
