I have shoulder length curly hair which I want to leave to dry naturally but when I just wash it and let it dry with nothing on it, it frizzes. Can any of you curly girls out there tell me what you put on your hair to keep it looking nice after a natural dry?

I have some stuff at home hun that I bought in London. I use it for my little girls natrually curly hair, when I get home from work tonight, I will post you and let you know what it is called. It wasnt expensive, around 8 quid for a huge spray (500mls I think) and it is EXCELLENT. My little girls hair falls in to ringlets when we use it.

Will post you when I get home. Katie x
I've heard a lot of people rave about the Frizz Ease serum...Also hand cream is supposed to keep static electricity at bay!
I have the same problem chazza. I've found that I can't leave it otherwise it goes frizzy and takes a long time to dry, and diffusers make my hair frizzy too. I usually just just a little bit of moose in it when it's wet (not a lot. You can't tell when it's dry that I've moussed it, but it gives better hold) and dry it infront of a little heater. I'll be waiting eagerly for Donnakebabu to post about the hair stuff. Oh, and I've found that Frizz Ease products don't work, as well as Sunsilk products for curly hair, but maybe you should give it a go anyway as all hair's different. x
Hi Chazza. Sods Law, I cant find the stuff now but I am in the middle of spring cleaning. I'll tell you what it was though, it was like a spray on hair relaxer that black people use. I bought it at Brixton Market. My former husband (my daughters father) is black and so my daughter has a mixture of soft and curly hair if that makes sense.

The other thing that we use that is REALLY VERY GOOD, is Advance Technique Professional Hair Care by Avon. It gives a smooth finish to the curls when it has been washed.

I hope this helps.

I agree with redhead, i have been converted to umberto giannini and Boots always seem to have some kind of multi buy offer on it. They do a kind of scrunch gel you can put on wet or dry (use sparingly, a little goes a long way) and t holds really well but just combs out.
mine is curly wurly too but doesnt frizz much
Pantene do a good mouse for curly hair, and I always use leave-in conditioner under the mouse,.

Just treated myself to some of that TiGi curl rocks at the weekend but at 11 its expensive, but lovely stuff

dont over touch curly hair or it will frizz, keep your fingers out of it if you can
I have the same problem. I have really curly hair and when it's not controlled it goes MASSIVE.
I use shockwaves mouse (curly)
it's great for me, although if you use too much it makes your hair look a bit solid.
But overall when used correctly it does a good job keeping the friz at bay =)

haven't actually tried any new suggestions yet, it's for when the weather heats up as it is not warm enough here to let my hair dry naturally yet!

I used to use the umberto gianni stuff years ago, just wondered if there's anything new on the market i should try!
ya it is a common problem with any hair type...
