address bar

ive just had to reformatt my pc and now the address bar is very small, ive tried doing the text size but it makes no difference, anyone know what i should be doing please? many thanks

I assume you are talking about the address bar in my computer or internet explorer.

If it's my computer, then it is probably on the same line as something else. To move it down a level do the following:

1. rick click on a blank space next to the words tools/help and make sure there isn't a tick next to lock the toolbar
2. just to the left of the word address there is a dotted line, left click and hold this and a line with 2 arrows appears, drag this down.

It's the same way of doing it, if it's in Internet explorer.

no arrows come except width ways like this - and not downwards if that makes sense, hope you can help more thanks

Sorry i thought you were talking about the actual size of the address bar.
If it's the text of the address bar, i think this is a resolution problem, beccause as far as i'm aware, there is no option to increase the size of the address bar

The only thing that it could be is the resolution of the screen size is higher than it used to be. You can change this, but it will make everything on the screen look larger.

1.Try right clicking anywhere on the desktop and go to properties
2.Go to settings
3. On the screen resolution, drag it to the left to either 1024 x 768, or if it's already at this size try 800 x 600
4. click OK
