Not normally. They may to protect their very young. There have been very few attacks, here and in the US, but usually by ones that were in the final stages of rabies.

Thanks. There is a fox hole in my back garden and i am quite happy with them being there as long as they are ok with me?
Their poo stinks - you won't like it on your lawn, or when you're doing gardening & you come across it. Dogs love to roll in it, too (hope you haven't got a dog!).

I got chased by a fox once. I was walking my dog (jack russell) one summer's night and I saw it staring at me a couple of yards up the road. Then all of a sudden it screamed and chased me. I really did scare me. Felt like it was chasing me forever when if must have been a couple of mintues. The next day I have pulled all my muscles in my legs where I had run so fast. Now when I see them my heart starts racing.
well you know what they say kleiber?? every bodys **** smells the same!!!
I've heard f them 'investigating' a baby in a pram in the garden.

They've certainly taken quite a few of my chooks - shoot to kill!
