I know this is for Sports, but quite frankly I don't like the sports bit.

Is the 200m Sprint one straight of the race-track and one bend?? Can anybody clear this up for me please?

Yes it is, each curve and straight are 100m each.

You start on the bend which gives the inside lane a distinct disadvantage if you are a big man.

No it doesn't because they have staggered white lines like at skool remember.

Whiffster I am referring to the volition and the tightest of the bend. Bug men fail onthe inside. Remember John Regis??? Useless on the inside and even Michael Johnson was never at his best!!!
