Music at end of new BBC Sherlock Holmes

Help!  What is the piece of classical music which was played at the end of last nights new BBC Sherlock Holmes (starring Rupert Everett).  It is a also at the end of the film "Master & Commander".  Is it Bach - if so, what is it called?

this was gonna be my question but I have had trouble logging on.

Yeah the episode was silk stocking a night or so ago

B-mint was too young for this, but it was also at the end of erm a cult movie called cruising which starred al pacino, with his clothes on and off if you get my meaning - i know kids lurk on this site - and wasnt on the credits then, although all the other tosh they played during the movie was.... I have been dying to know for these thirty years.......please answer

"Prelude (From the Unaccompanied Cello Suite No. 1 in G Major, BWV 1007)" is on the M&C soundtrack but haven't seen the film and know nothing about classical music other than than this being by Bach.
