Oh dear...
See, I'm French. My grandma used to be very religious, and mum sometimes had me go there with her as kid....
To be honest, to me it's a load of old tripes, but I suppose to someone who's into it it might have some "meaning".
The town itself, and the area, is quite scenic, but VERY commercial, with thousands of shops selling religious trinklets...
Not somewhere I would go to now, but eh. Have fun.
Im not a believer either.

But each to their own eh?

Now whered i put that rabbits foot ?

I have been many times. I won't cloud or enlighten your imminent trip with any preconceived notions. Just go and enjoy the experience and make of it what you will. You will see a lot of suffering and hope and faith, which is sometimes mesmering, humbling and even odd.

Just don't partake in any of those sex games like eating a banana between a mans legs or anything, and don't shagging on the beach with any foreign waiters.

Ok, I'm kidding about that bit - there are no beaches. Just go and make the most if it. Bon voyage.
must add my gran visits ofern as shes particularly religious, she got her purse stolen with all of her monies in it.
other than that she met some lovely people and meets with them when there.
My uncle went for a cure and he died of a heart attack while there.
My ex girlfriends sister who had had a very bad skin allergy/infection for 7 years went there, and in 3 weeks she was cured after bathing in the water there.

I have an open mind about it, but I have seen the evidence.
