Hi,

I was hoping to connect my sony vaio laptop to my sony tv by using an s-video and audio leads.

The problem is i cannot find an s-video port on the laptop. It's a vaio VGN-N21S.

Any ideas / advice

Cheers,
Brendan

You are probably out of luck then, there are cables available that will convert the VGA port to Svideo but they only work if the graphics card supports tv out through the VGA, which following a quick check it seems yours doesn't.

You can buy converter boxes that will do the job but these are expensive.

If the TV is new you may find it has a standard monitor port on it for PC input, in which case you just need a monitor lead
