yes you do miss out - you have to call on the number you are waiting for as they use that number as the "check number"
yes

as it states in the rules

the caller should make his/hers announcment before start of game

as it is gaming regulations

if its a social club they somtimes have the same rules

but do lax on them most of the time x

Thank you, I thought so, did you understand what I meant?
I'm waiting for number 6, the caller says "on it's own number 6" number 6 is displayed on the machine. caller flicks over to 47 He says "4&7, I shout to call on 6 but I'm to late arn't I
Yes, i knew what you meant and yes you are correct you would be too late - especially in a Gala or suchlike. As Harryshaw said some social clubs will probably be slightly more relaxed about the rules.
'Fraid so. You can still call up if the next number is in the camera, but you're too late if they've already started calling it.
Oh dear...It's the first time EVER that I have understood a post by Harryshaw, and it's about Bingo! lol ;O)

Thank you both for your answers, you're right it's a social club, but we're trying to get fairplay, there was a row today as to whether we should have paid out or not.
We did pay out but only to keep the peace.
