Thats where emoticons would come in handy cos you could put a smilie face after your post or whatever so peeps would know the tone of your post.

I don't think you should just forget it if it was particularly awful, that's a bit like the John Cleese sketch in The Holy Grail where he whoops down the staircase and slaughters a number of wedding guests, then just says "Sorry". Very funny but out of touch with 21st century Britain
