printer problem with epson c40 series

am trying to print on glossy photo paper but the printer settings has only matte photo, photoand glossy film options I have tried them all and the ink will not dry on the photos....what am I doing wrong....does anyone else have this problem?

You could try updatign the driver/software from teh Epson website.  Or give their troubleshooting guide a try:
