It just started thundering where I live :-)
I love thunderstorms!

Has the blue sky reached you yet daffy?, we had the thunder about 30 minutes ago and its brightened up now

Please say I am not the only wimp that hates thunderstorms. I think it is inherited as my mother used to hide in the cupboard under the stairs whenever one came ! They just frighten me, I worry about the house being struck by lightning - not common I know. :-((

I am in South Lakes, so only an hour and a half from Preston. To me, that is close! :D

I'm in rural Fylde between Preston and Blackpool,it chucked it down for 20 minutes and thundered for about 10 minutes,now it is just drizzling with the sound of very distant thunder,its still blooming hot though!

Oh daffy , I sooooo want one and there's no sign of one here , not even muggy so I don't think there will be one even later :-(
