For Council Tax both of you were liable (on a joint & several basis) for the whole of the tax, even if you were not both named on the bill. This would apply to the tax up to the date you left the house, but not afterwards. If your name is on the bill, make sure the Council removes it & know you have moved out.

For gas, water, phone & electricity the liability is with the person named on the bill. However, if you are not named but bills are outstanding for the time you were living there your ex pay well ask for a contribution from you for that period (assuming you had previously agreed that you would contribute while living there).
