I have a year 2000 Vectra, which usually runs fine. However, today when I started up to come back from my destination, the Digital Odometer display didn't light up, which was very strange driving back not being able to see the mileage displayed!  Everything else on the dash seems to work OK, does this mean it is a bulb gone behind the dashboard or something else? approx how much to fix at a garage? Thanks in advance to all you mechanics out there.

Hi. It is probably a bulb as the vectras are prone to this. What area do you live in?

Hi Loola. I live in the North Dorset area, but work in Salisbury area. Thanks.
Hi Shaun,
I would have done it for you as I specialize in mileage correction & dashboard repairs etc but as I live in Swansea S.Wales it is obviously a bit far to travel to you. Sorry mate.
Shaun I have the same problem with my Vectra, firstly the back windscreen wiper was not working so I changed the fuse and now the Odometer light is not working, everything else works fine. Please can you let me know how much you charge for fixing this as I am in Neath
