How do I transfer/convert documents written in Microsoft Works into Microsoft Word...or do I have to type the whole lot out again? I'm a techno duffer, so please - if possible - don't blind me with science...or any other techno terminology; keep it simple, eh? Ta Muchly.

The very latest Works Word is fully compatible with Office Word, but does this help?

all the versions of word I've seen will allow importing works documents.

and

all versions of word can export to works .... so just leave it to word
oops ... should have said ... all the converters are on the office CD ... (I think they are installed as default ... but if not - works word perfect, etc, etc - they are all in there)

if your version is missing ... go to the microsoft site for updates
if you have both progs on the same PC you could also copy and paste ...
or
save as ... a text file
