Do people insist on going to the supermarket as a whole family - husband and kids in tow?

Surely this must make life more difficult not less?

Why doesn't one of parents stay at home with kids?

I would also like to ask why is it that the naughty kids in the supermarket have big fat slobby mothers. I went to a new store today, only just opened in my town (Netto) and this child was running around, taking things off shelves and poking fingers in the breads, its mother was about 20 stone and yelling at the top of her voice, she also had a baby in a pram which was crying (poor little thing) I know she must have been very stressed but ......can anyone one of you out there explain why its always the fat mums with bad teeth.
People go to supermarkets still ,,how quant ..
Do it online ...they deliver to your door and it only costs about 6 to 7 ...well worth it ....
Let the polish do the shopping for you
There should be a giant creche just for husbands,children.....somewhere they can expend some energy, because they are usually causing havoc in the supermarket.....crazy kids and dawdling dads.
I was in Tesco today, and all the oldies were out.

I swear they were standing in front of whatever I wanted on purpose, then having a deep discussion on what to buy..

Would Tesco object if I mounted a small machine gun on the front of the trolley? I don't mind if they put a limit on how much I use it.
no. i go on my own - is safer for myself and others! the only thing that gets my goat is when the fat mums with bad teeth start slapping their children in public.
Hi everyone!
I think it's because with most women having the run of the kitchen and knowing what's needed, they're the ones who're most likely to know what's required during atheir weekly shop. If the woman can't drive, she'd need her partner to take her - and you can't very well leave the children at home. As Pasta says, maybe shops should provide a creche, or playground for the older kids. Better still - have good delivered to your door, but personally I like to pick and choose what I'm going to buy before I pay for it. Puss!!!! ROF!!! Don't know about your comments, but what gets me, are the parents who let their offspring eat a roll, or a bar of chocolate as they're going round - and then walk out without paying for it. Grrrr!

Thank God for Tesco and Sainsburys on line service. Also use the Waitrose on as well.
Never had any issues. They also select from the warehouse and you get the fresh stuff, Rather than whats been man handled on the shelf by the masses and snotty nosed kids ..yuk !

P.s i find 6 or 7 quid a waste of money - that's 24 - 28 a month, ive got better things to spend that on.
I prefer to take at least one of the kids - otherwise I forget where I've parked the car!!
as an online shopper thanx for the support randyraven, we are an unappreciated breed, and not a Polish shopper in sight in my store, lol.
shantra ...do you live in England ?
My nearest stores are Newbury or Basingstoke.
30 per month is a good investment to have to not venture into Newbury or Basingstoke.
The maths says a single visit to the store =
Fuel cost = 5
Time taken = 2 to 3 hours ...even on min wage thats equal to 15 ....
and the hell of pushing a metal basket for 2 hours ...

If they charged 10 it would be worth it
