Bless you. I remember when one of my cats gof run over and killed, I was inconsolable. I liked that little cat more than I like most people I know and she was a darn sight cuter too. Don't feel bad for being upset pumpkin.

I'm starting to feel a little better, my niece wrote a poem to say goodbye which caused me to break down at work :o( but I'm starting to let go of the sadness and remember just why I loved her so much and how great she was.

All the while I'm not at the house I can think she is still there, but when I go back to visit that will be the hardest time. She had a good life, just wish it could have gone on for years longer :o(

I'll let you know when I'm back on to chatterback Red, just not feeling like it right now. I'll send you an invite on sports now - xxxxx
I am very sorry to hear about your loss, it must be very painful for you at the moment. Pets are part of our family and our loved ones and it's only normal to feel like this. I hope she felt no pain xx
Oh mistys, darling :( I feel for you so much right now. Big cuddles for you, and be safe in the knowledge that Penny is at Rainbow Bridge now, and there are no cars there honey, just catnip mice, tuna, and birds to chase!

*Hugs* xxxx

Thanks Misty and Leela - xxx

Ruth it's really kind of you to come back to see how I am. To be honest I'm not really sure, I've been denying it all these last few days. It really will hit me once I visit my parents house again and see that she isn't around, but hopefully I wont be back there for a few months yet. It is getting easier, and everyone on here has been great so thank you all. Shes in a good place, I'm sure of it, and at least I made her happy, as did she with me, while I had her. - xxx
Mistys hun...awwww.....I don't know what to say. What sad news for you. Get it out of your system - I'm sure no one's going to think you're at all silly - and then as time goes by, you'll grieve less and less. Hugs - xx.

Thanks Ice, so far everyone has been really great to me and has understood why I am so upset. It is the first loss I've ever suffered and as China said, I loved her more than most people. It will get easier I know that, just hard right now. - xxx

I wanted to post earlier in the week but unfortunately AB wouldn't let me in until today. I'm so very sorry to hear about your puss, and understand what you are going through. My animals have always meant so much to me and I have loved and lost quite a few in my life. It doesn't get any easier!

Thinking of you. x

Thanks monty and loftylottie. I wont be getting another pet anytime soon, no one could replace Penny and I don't ever want to feel like this again. She was one in a million and I'm glad I got to have her for the few years I did, she was very special - xxxx
