I have inherited a Mercedes G-Wagon from a very dear friend, it is in excellent condition and I want to keep it that way, however, it won't fit in my garage, is it possible to buy a cover for it? I have looked on places like eBay but the nearest I can find is for a Range Rover, does anyone know if there is a cover made specifically for a G-Wagon?
Thanks.

The Mercedes Benz Club magazine has an advert for covercraft-europe.com, who do a "WeatherShield" outdoor cover among others. The important thing is that the cover MUST be breathable, so as to avoid condensation & blooming of the paint. They`re not cheap, 120 plus I believe. I have read that a looser fit is better than a tight tailor made fit as it allows moisture to escape faster. There is one make I read that you can put on a wet car as it breathes so well. The old style plastic ones just messed up the paintwork.

Thanks for your reply, I am beginning to discover that nothing with this car will be cheap, but it's a great car to drive and so solid, it will be worth it I'm sure.
