Horror movie from 70s/80s - does anyone know what it is?

Does anyone have any idea what this film is: a family move into a house and for some reason they are being filmed on the porch of the house (ranch-style house). When they watch the video, in the backround they see a pair of devil-red eyes in the house. Can't remember anything else about it. Help please!

Could it be the Amityville Horror? There was a family in a house, and there were definitely red eyes...not sure about the filming part though
