i have been with my employer for 7 months. our annual leave year starts april 1st.. if i left in 6 weeks time, how much of that leave would i be entitled to before i left.?

Generally you would have however many days you were entitled to each year divided by 52 then multiplied by the number of weeks you were working. However you need to check what you entitlement is as you have only been there for 7 months.
If you started 7 months ago you should have had 7/12ths of your annual holiday entitlement in the 7 months to 1st April 2008. Presumably you took those holidays days unless you are entitled to carry some forward. If you leave 6 weeks into the new holiday year you may get 6/52nds of the annual entitlement unless the employer counts full months only- in which case you�ll get 1/12th of annual entitlement 9plus any days carried forward from previous holiday year).
