It's the number of letters in first, second, third, etc. so the next number is 6 for eighth

Thankyou all for your input I had actually got the zodiac signs late last night. Doing the crossword in the paper and the horoscope was on the facing page and it finally clicked.. One marathon of a quiz now finally finished. Thanks to all who helped
