It may be that you have a virus which is spamming one particular email address (at a rate of one email per minute). The recipient there is bouncing the email back to you, thus giving you the messageabove : "the spammy email that your PC is trying to send was not delivered as it contains an executable file (potential virus) which is not allowed by the recipient"

Do you have an antivirus prog? If not search google for "online virus scan" and have a website scan your PC for you. Then install a range of software (antivirus, firewall, anti-spyware etc) and keep them all up to date.

All the best

I have Norton anti virus installed- I did 2 full scans & 1 on line one but nothing was found- fortunately after 3 days they stopped, but I have no idea what caused it.

Thanks anyway
