water lilies

Help, do I need special compost to pot my water lilies in my pool. I did them last year with ordinary compost and put stones on the top they were alright for a while, but when I looked after the winter they had tipped up and some of the compost had come out and they were sort of semi floating around at the bottom of the pool. Any ideas _ I have had them several years.

It is always tempting to use any compost you may already have for water lilies. But if you want to get the best effect it is worth using Aquatic Compost. Have a look at this .. .
