Tomorrow is my first day off in three weeks and I can feel a cold coming on. Does anyone have any quick methods I can use to stop it coming?! I plan on spending the day in bed, but don't want it to be because of a damn cold.
Thanks - xxxx

Just checked and I have some too, only got the lemon ones, but to be honest I don't like any of them. Hope this works, I really don't wanna be feeling rough tomorrow.
Hope your feeling better soon kirsty - xx
Get a bowl of boiling water let it cool for around 5 mins then add some vicks vapour rub or obasoil and put your head over the bowl with a towel over your head and breathe in the steam. It will clean out your sinuses and your nose will start running blow it all out.

You too mistys. xxx
Hi mistys,

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well. Beechams cold and flu tablets are good. Try eating kiwi fruits too as they have more vitamin C than an orange. Hope you feel better soon xx
Echinacea at the first sign of a cold is brilliant- assuming you have some in the house. If not, Vitamin C in large doses- you may get the squits but that's only your body getting rid of what it can't immediately use.
Commonly known fact!! No cure for a cold!!!

A cold is a virus and cant be cured you just have to let it run its course.

All you can do is try to relieve the symptoms to make it more bearable.

Ive tried vitamin C, which seemed to help, but I cant tell how effective it was for sure because I dont know what wouldve happened if I hadnt taken it. It cant do any harm to take it in reasonable doses, though.

Orange juice is another thing I tried very good if youre feeling dehydrated.

I think a dash of whisky or brandy in your tea or coffee is beneficial! Makes you feel better for a while.
