I paid a visit to my mums today and while she went next door with my boy, her hubby started telling me about something that happened last night between them, basically moaning about my mum. nothing bad, just lighthearted stuff really but she's annoyed him with it.. I smiled sweetly!

Then he went off and i was alone with my mum, guess what? she started moaning about him, same story but told differently! lol I did the same and smiled sweetly!

This tends to happen most weeks now cause i think im a bit of a sounding board for them both !

They are both in their 70's and very close but do get on each others nerves sometimes as they are always together , just made me laugh that i got the same story from both but from different perspectives each time LOL Bless em!

You ever get caught up in this sort of thing?
one says one thing and the other says another?

lol cazzz, tell me about it, it isnt anything bad just petty stuff when they've irritated one another but it was funny how the two stories were told from different sides

hello weeal, i do stay out of it, ! the only way!
lol of course its important to stay firmly on the fence, mind you they only squabble about nothing, no real problems just general moaning about not decorating the toilet ect...
all the time honey ! all the time ! My Mum is 64 and my Dad is nearly 70 !

Bless them.

Keep smiling sweetly.

julie,
Laughing at your post.
My Hubby and I do that all the time with friends and family, and in front of each other too.
We treat it very light heartedly and end up having a good laugh out of it.
Outsiders sometimes ask us if we are "Having a domestic" which I have to admit, not knowing us, that would be what it sounded like.
Just our type of humour.
I send him indoors up, as he does me.
Great fun.
