English and Spanish the only things | was good at.
Hated PE as I'm the unsportiest person ever and my teacher hated me because my school was very sports-orientated. Didn't help that my older brother was good at all sports.
Also hated Maths because I'm useless with figures and most of the sciences except chemistry which was frankly a piece of ****!
I straight out refused to do P.E from about year seven!!! Hated it, and got my prefect status taken away for refusing to do it!!
Also hated Maths and Science, but I was actually quite good at Maths it was just sooo boring.
haha Weeal. I got chucked out of more Maths classes than I think I sat in on and still passes my exam with an A grade. Always found that easy. Hated Biology though!. Things being cut up? Nah I dont think so!
it wasnt i didnt like maths, i just found it too easy and so used to mess about in class for example my three hour paper exam, I completed in just under 1 hour 45mins.
How old are you Katie? They stopped teaching typing at my school in my mum's generation(she's in her 70's now).
I liked English language,it was my best subject and the teacher was great,if we completed our work in time we got to play "biscuit bingo" where the prizes were viscount biscuits.lol. I came away with a Grade B in O'Level English Language.
I hated school, that's not to say I wasn't any good at any subjects - I just resented being at school.
(Parents sent me to boarding school for 10 years and still hate them for it)
Hi Daffy. I am 40 for my sins. I opted for Typing and Commerce as part of my options in 1981 and did it for two years from 1981 - 1983 with an Olivetti manual typewriter, I loved it ! When I went for my first interview, I failed it miserably because the typing test was on an electric typewriter and it just ran away with me. Those were the days that if you made a mistake you had to use a rubber pencil with a brush on the end but not forgetting to put a piece of paper behind the carbon paper so it wouldnt smudge.
When I went to college I did all the RSA Exams and loved that too! I think I used my first Word Processor in 1985 and thought all my dreams had come true. I think I still have the typewriter that my Mum and Dad bought for me Christmas 1981 in their loft somewhere !
