Is it a gift for someone taking the sacrament of Holy Communion sandrajo ? If so , there are a number of things , usually of a blessed nature that you can get., such as a book or a cross and chain , and there are plenty of nice cards in the shops if you find the right section xxxxx
I'm not Catholic either but I am getting confirmed in the CofE church, it is so you can take Holy Communion.
There are white missals that are rather nice for a First Communion gift too . xxxxx
I received a lot of prayer books and a set of rosary beads for mine

...and a box of maltesers :D
Oh yes cazzz , of-course , rosary beads .....and maltesers.
lol yes mamma, they were the only thing on my mind during the communion :O
Sandrajo. We have a couple of shops where I live that sell lovely prayers, prayer books, rosary beads, nice cards with words and prayers, prayer dolls. china gifts etc. They are generally not expensive. Our shops are next door to the Catholic Churches. You could phone your local Catholic Church and find out where they are.

In the post this morning I recieved an invitation to a mates daughters Communion (quite expensive looking) I text her to tell her I'd be away at the time but thanks anyway and that I'd send a card. She said to me she likes Claires Accessories or New Look, so I could just put vouchers in the card as a gift. ( I was gob smacked to say the least). Do you not think she's rather cheeky??
I think that's extremely cheeky and personally would just send a card.

Well thats what I was gong to do squarebear till she textd me and said about the vouchers, how much does one put in a card for a communion?? I'm lost!!
thought that text about vouchers is cheeky. a first communion is a spiritual and not a commercial thing
Personally, if anyone had said that to me, they would find a card with NO vouchers in it.
How old is she honey , most Catholic children take their First Holy Communion at around 7 yrs of age.
