Anyone know who had a song out years ago which went
"Devil in a Red Dress, Devil with a red dress on"? It doesn't seem to be Bruce Springsteen, which I thought it was so any suggestions please?

I think you mean "Devil With A Blue Dress On" which was originally recorded by Frederick "Shorty" Long as a single in 1964. It was co-written with Motown producer Mickey (William) Stevenson.

Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels covered it in 1966, paired with "Good Golly Miss Molly," in a much speeded-up version.

It has also been covered by the Grateful Dead and by The Boss...
