What is the small, plinky-sounding stringed instrument in the advert for BBC Asian Network? My dad is mad for out of the ordinary musical instruments and I would like to try and get one for his birthday!

we have one of those at home I think its may be called a sitar but not 100% sure though

I found a site advertising the casting for the trailer and it calls for a TUMBI player. I've had a look elsewhere and that is what it is.

Yes it is called a Tumbi, it's an instrument from Pakistan
