Which one is the odd one out:-

1. Hydrogen, Air , Methane, Oxygen
(know they are all gases but can't work out which is the odd one and why)

2. Ounce, Mile, Pound, Metre
Any help much appreciated.

2 .ounce is a measurement of weight, the others are measuirements of distance

Could it be that ounce, mile and pound are imperial measurements and metre is a metric measurement just to show I am not an utter twit.
