Hi
Has anyone ever heard of a type of candle that will burn down from the outside, as well as the inside - so that, if it is placed inside a glass candle holder, the flame is always visible and not hidden because the centre has burned low and the outer wax is screening it? If so, where can I buy one?! Thanks.

you just need to get a candle that is slightly thinner so that the outside also gets hot and the wax melts. Alternatively but one with more than one wick so that it burns more evenly.

They only burn through the centre and not the outside because they are too thick and the outer edge does not get hot.
If I use thickish ones what I do is,while it is still burning and the wax is soft CAREFULLY and gently pushing the outside inwards all the way round. Hope you can understand that.

Thank you! I just remember hearing that some candle parties sell candles specifically made for this purpose and they have a particular name but, for the life of me, I can't remember what they are called. Will try your tips though, thanks.
