Hi guys. Just wondering if anyone could answer my question. I had my car for a year before passing my test and Ive now been driving for a year. Does the year that I was insured as a learner count for no claims discount making it two years instead of one?

I would imagine so because you still had the insurance in force which covers you for events including fire and theft so although you made no claims for any driving incidents, you still could have claimed for fire or theft, but as you didn't, you have had one year claim free. I would suggest asking yoru insurance company to be completely sure.
