I'd go to the nearest Halfords, tell them the year, make and model of your car and get them to find the right bit and then fit it for you.
If it is a new car (ish) you should have spares stored either in a little plastic box often found in the hull of your spare tyre in the boot.

If not go to Halfords and buy one which is conducive with your make and model. Unless it is uber rare, they will have it. For about 2 pounds they will fit it for you.
PS,

Give the lights a good whack (with in reason) and it may come back on.
