You will get better copies if you rip the original or copy to your hard drive first then burnt using Nero .have a look at this link. It could be what youre looking 4 hope this helps

note just for info--

Just to confuse matters I always copy DVD's to -R discs and have never had a problem with friends using them.

Some players like + and some like - and some do not like homemade DVD's for some reason.
I have generally found that the really cheap supermarket players are the least fussy.

Well thank you anyway, now I am totally confused - talk about ripping it, I feel like smashing it up completely. I thought it was just a case of popping one dvd into my r/rw and another in the Rom and Bob's yer uncle - obviously not, so have given up on this idea, but thanks for the answer!!!
I have nero 7 premium and this won`t do it, so I downloaded cloneDVD. This works ok but takes a while.
Don't give up. Try download either dvd shrink or dvdfab.
Just like to say a big thanx to "Whickerman" i had been strugling so bad to put my dvd's on my ipod and after downloading about 10 different programs i tried "fabdvd" and it worked great.

Cheers dude. Forever greatful.
