I know we are all supposed to be looking after our cholesterol etc but there is no substitute for butter, small quantities used sensibly ok!

i would rather ( and do) eat real butter but less of it ,than nasty chemical laden low fat spead, so yes i agree :-)
i dont eat it very much but i do like it on jacket spud, you cant beat it
Everything in moderation.
I enjoy butter but not too much of it.
The really low fat spreads I cannot tolerate.
Clover comes a close second to butter.
I always have some real butter in the house, you can't beat it for crumpets or jacket potatoes. I don't use it every day but sometimes............ ooh, I feel like eating a piece of toast with real butter on now.................

I'm afraid I have to stick to low fat marg - can't trust myself with butter - moderation doesn't come into it!
Butter - and can anyone remember that little Lurpak man who was always naughty?!! Lol.
i remember him, and his trumpet, he was so cute !!!! will have to have a look on u tube later now that you have reminded me see if i can find him lol
I recently had an email telling me that Margerine is only one molecule away from plastic!! So we never even have Marg. in the house now....too scared in case it is true!!
