JK - most franchised service centres will have a check list for each different type of service independants may not have. You have every right to see what you are about to pay for so just ask them.
Incidentally I have one of those �99 service centres near me & asked the same question - seems they change the oil & filter then check a lot of things & not much else - everything they said I could do easily myself in about an hour anyway.

I think the answer in many cases is - not as many things as they're supposed to!

Quoi has it about right I believe. Some people have been known to put a mark on things like the oil filter so they can tell whether it�s really been changed!
