I had my car serviced today for the first time since I bought it (been a fair few years), but I was never given a service history book for the vehicle.

Is there anything that I can do to obtain the service history?

Thanks

You can usualy get one by downloading the service schedule of the model of car you have from the car dealer web site.

Not worth it though if it's not been serviced for a "fair few years" ! it probably won't last long.
Should be done at least every year following the service schedule.
The only way that you are sure that the car is going to srve you well TC, Is to get the car throughly checked, cam / Fan belts changed, & a "FULL SERVICE" you can Print a Service Sheet for yourself & get it signed by the servicing garage for your own benefit or if you intend to sell it on.
There is a chance the car has been serviced at the same place, perhaps even the main dealer, whilst in previous ownership. Equally likely the previous owner/s have taken in to independents.....

Did you buy it privately and local to you, if so it might be worth asking the local main dealers if they have a record of the service history.

Although, if you are looking at creating a FSH when you admit to not servicing it
Oops...

..you admit not servicing it for a fair few years, question the point of your quest!?!?
