what do you think about rats ? I've got a massive brown rat sat on my lawn eating the bird food . I think he quite sweet . mother in law says Kill it .I live in a countryside small village and I say let it live its doing no harm

Call your local council dustypuss,they should attempt to poison or trap the rats(there will be a family of them no doubt) and they should hopefully do it in a way that is not harmful to other wildlife and pets.Pet rats are lovely but wild ones are filthy and can spread disease.
