recently bought an i pod and have nearly a thousand songs from different albums on it but was wondering if you can get all the songs into one album so they are not spread about as different albums i have named them all as my favourites but they are all seperate albums

You need to use iTunes to fix this. Select all of the songs that you want to put on one album, right click and 'edit properties'. Then in the bottom left corner of the box that pops up is a 'compilation' drop-down, click 'yes' on that and it will put the selected songs into one album. Make sure that when you do that you add in the name of the album - whatever you want to call it in that box that pops up.
