It could be a couple of conditions, SLE or Lupus is one of them and the other is called Raynauds

milky bars lol
tingerdftkhligtrdewacitis
It could be Raynaud's syndrome, very uncomfortable. You should go see your GP for a proper diagnosis.
hi caveman69
it sounds as though you have vibration white finger get it checked out by your doc cos if you have ever worked with heavy duty vibrating machinery then you may be able claim compensation for this, by the way it cant be cured only managed sorry
Ah well, been beaten to it! lol
My daughter has Raynauds, she suffers with it when the weather gets icey. My sister has Lupus and also Raynaulds which is related to the circulatory problems of Lupus.
lupus is wolf
Yes it is Bon, SLE is also called Lupus after the latin name for wolf, as one of the main conditions is a rash when the skin develops patches that are likened to the skin of a wolf.
sorry Bob, not Bon, I did recognise you : )

When the circulation returns it makes the fingers seem to tingle, i do not have either condition only discoid lupus like my Mum
They're all unpleasant to have.
CAVEMAN!!!! I did a post especially for you! Ten minutes ago.....
hi caveman
You do need to let your GP look at you and tell them what happens, it can be a condition related to Lupus as i said, if you feel tired and lethargic and achy alot, you may need a thyroid test too.
Question Author
It's funny you should say that Dot, cos am on Thyroxine for an underactive thyroid and have been VERY naughty and missed loads lately.
Could the 2 be related do you think ? x x
yes they certainly could!!! you have to take the thyroxin properly, you will start to ache and feel lethargic if you let it slide
