Because they are members of the panther group, Panthera (see Animals and Nature). Earlier Lion bars were smaller and therefore members of the small cat group, Felidae. The new lion bar (Panthera Humungous) is tastier and larger than it's smaller predecessor the old lion bar (Felis Miniscula).
