why is it that if you are friendly with each other on here you are accused of being in a clique, and yet just having a quick, and i mean a very quick, glance through the sh1t on here last night, I know where i'd rather be!

Its a shame if we can't all get along and be friendly without someone accusing you of being clicky! Maybe fighting and name calling is where its at these days! Im so old fashioned!

so,hello to everyone on the answerbank this morning ,

Hello and good morning to you Jules and everyone else! It does appear to be a bit cliquey on here. At first it was hard to believe this could be possible in pixel-land, but, it is quite obvious to the eyes of the regular visitors of here. Like you I'm old fashioned and don't let that stop me from posting.

And if someone don't like what you post or you fail to agree with them they ban your post. So unfair and childish!
helo julie, i am drunk again, can't you tell? Better be careful driving into work this morning, don;t want to crash, or get breathalised, i might change my id to drunken-dot, what do you think?
Sorry Jules but there are obvious cliques on here or if you prefer groups of pixels that club together. I'm in a couple myself I believe in News, Religion and some Iggy fan club with GS for which I'm told I have a sash. There is absolutely no denying that some pixels like other pixels better and that with the influx of MSN, Facebook/Myspace and the texting that there are often in jokes or groups that other pixels just won't get as they're not a part of it.

This isn't a bad thing necessarily, it's nice to make friends and if you want to be a part of that it's fine. But I would imagine some pixels find it very hard to participate and I've seen pixel comments be passed over or ignored when trying to participate. As long as you're aware that this can happen and do your best to make them welcome on your threads then it's fine.

And there's the greenies who every five seconds get accused of being someone else... I would hate to be a greenie coming on to this site at the moment. Plus with the way I type and some of my opinions I'm just going to end up being called Boo or Good Soulette in disguise which would be insulting for both of them.

There are pixels on here I really like and get on with very well. A few who've made it to my real email address adn even on to my phone but I think the difference is that I do not name them, I don't go out of my way to highlight our relationship and I just see it as my correspondence with them being private. I'm meeting up with an ABer next week, it'll be the second ABer I've met with. So yeah, even grumpy old me makes good friends on here but I just don't feel the need to highlight it which is what other pixels can and do see on here and hence why CB is accused of having cliques. It's because we do and there are. It's human nature.
i reakon the clique is a cult. A cult based on @rse kissing

Hope this helps
I wouldn't want to be part of any clique that was willing to accept me...................

I believe that it would illustrate a fundamental lack of discernment on its part, and discernment is terribly important to me................
figure you have figured it out pretty well. i make various user names. You could call me a troll I guess if you so wish and even though the questions I ask are not 600% of a serious nature there are a certain few who get me banned. And then after that they post complete drivel themselves. Penultimately it is them who are been childish and narrow minded. If being a troll means I am not like them then I am happy! Clicky freikoids!

i guess its the word clique that annoys me though CD. Why do a few friendships make a "clique"?

Obviously friendships do form, like you say, its human nature.

I try never to ignore anyone who posts on any of my threads if i can. Unless of course, i come back from my chores and see another 8 answers on here lol
What does annoy me is people come onto a thread where folks are saying good morning just to mention a clique basically to make a point, cant see the reasoning behind it myself but there ya go, thats me!! I think its a good thing that these friendships are formed on here.

I myself have been overlooked when i have posted on someones thread as they chatter away, many times but it doesnt bother me in the slightest. I dont automatically feel paranoid that no one likes me and wants me in their "chique" That to me is schoolground stuff.

I agree about the greenies, i feel sorry for them too, unless of course they have silly names that are so obviously done to stir up trouble . I wouldnt like to be a new aber on here at the moment full stop to be honest.

right, after all that waffle, hello to the others and figure i agree that is childish and out of order. I think eveyone has a right to post.

cream cakes, psychick, you're in! ;-) make mine an eclair please
Jack the hat, thats a long word for me. I'm uneducated!

dot, not sure its you so i will leave it there and although it looks like you, it doesnt sound like you, now im confuddled. .

You're such a Sweety, Jules! Mwah
You know where I'd rather be too Julie.....!

Have a lovely day & here's to spring & summer! ;o}
Afternoon Julie! I don't really notice any clique on AB - just folk chatting away about whatever they want to, and I post a reply if I feel like it. If no one answers me, it doesn't worry me in the slightest, unless it's a direct question to someone in particular - and even then, I might just assume they're busy & haven't noticed. I get emails from a lot of Abers - some more than others - but I'm just happy to answer as and when, and try and have a laugh and get on with everyone - x
My sentiments too Ice!

I like a bit of variety & am not a cliquey person by nature. I prefer to be friendly with everyone & anyone who wants to be. I don't have time for insignificant people in my life. ;o}
Nothing like a good laugh to brighten the day!
Almost Groucho Marx.............
