Seeing a medium is not fortune telling so I doubt if they will tell you your future. Mediums are supposed to make conections with 'the other side' Sprits can only connect with people who have this gift, so when you leave you will be ok. I am sceptical  so I am not the best person to answer.

I know they aren't necessarily fortune tellers, but my cousin went to see one last week and she got all the information right about my nan, and she even mentioned that my little sister was talking to my nan in my grandads garden (where her ashes are buried) but she also said that my cousin wasn't going to marry her fiance and that she was going to meet someone else, as well as saying that my uncle was going to change jobs (hes just handed his notice in) so, can some of them see the future as well???

I went to see one years ago after my dad died. She looked at my palm and told me various bits and pieces some of which had or have since happened and others which haven't. She then asked for an item of jewellery, such as a ring or watch which she held, she then 'contacted' the other side, she told me stuff about my dad etc. I was sceptical and not 100% sure, but some of the stuff was too accurate for a guess, but I suppose it is your interpretation of what is said. My advice is not to tell them anything, ie don't volunteer info if they say I can see someone with the initial J for example don't jump in with a name, let them tell you all they can, other than that, be prepared to take whatever they say with a pinch of salt and make your own mind up once you have been. Some are better than others, and like anything you will get con artists so be prepared

It right what Jimmyb says SG,a true medium hears or sees spirit and its spirit who passes messages via the medium. The one your cousin saw sounds like a true one,are you seeing that one as well? Give nothing away, dont offer any info,if the medium is genuine he/she wont need to be told anything. There's nothing to be nervous of and spirit wont give out bad news but they will give warnings to guide you.

I am curious to know what effect your cousin's visit to a medium is having on her relationship with her fianc.

It sounds like a self-fulfilling prophesy to me.

Years ago Madam Raya put me in contact with my long-dead goldfish, Drippy.  I was so pleased I could only say...."Well done, Medium Raya."

about 20 years ago an middle aged woman stopped 4 of us in the street as we walked home in the rain at around 11:30 and insisted that she hold  our hands ....she then went on to tell us what would happen in the future.... she got me bang on with "something that would change my life and the exact age 16years later!!!" predicted that one of us would marry soon and he did (didn't have a girlfriend at the time) Didn't like the other one coz he was just interested in money she said....and he was soon taken into the dept of finance and then became an accountant...cant remember about the 4th guy...... few minutes after leaving her we were laughing about her and then the transformer on the power thingy directly above us exploded with a deafening bang....and that's the truth......take it or leave it.

They're a con, SG

Dont part with too much money

They have scouts working the audience before you go into see Madame Zsa Zsa - so if they hear, 'I miss Drippy so much.' Sure enough Madame Zee will ask if anyone knows...."Water, I see water, drips, as from a tap, does anyone have a water pet, who's passed beyond? Drippy is calling...."

Yup Drippy is, calling collect

In terms of the psychic connection, about half the ethnic English hear dead relatives speaking to them, so the connection may not be. But of course it is nothing to do with the psychic connection, the English just have this habit.

I'm not going to one that has an audience, its a one on one at her house, i'm not going to see the one that my cousin went to, as we live 200 miles apart, she doen't know what to do about her fiance, although, i and the rest of the family know things weren't working with them anyway, so i think she kind of knows things aren't going to work out. Have to say, i'm looking forward to it now!!

Ok, how can she finf out basic facts about me if she only knows my first name, no phone number and no address??? Plus the one my cousin went to see only told her to say yes or no to her questions, as to not to lead her into fake answers. I don' t believe its possible for them to make it up. Because how would the one my cousin seen know that my 5 year old sister was talking to my nan where her ashes are buried, when my cousin didn't even know that! Explain that! How could they tell that from body language?????

Yes, but mediums aren't necessarily fortune tellers, its your departed love ones that the messages come from, and they give you the messages to guide you. They won't be able to see the lottery numbers or anything like that, they are there to watch over their family and use the medium as a way to pass their messages on, not to predict the future, although they may know what the future holds for you.

One word....'Coincidence'. My mother in law went to see one last year, and she was allowed to tape the session which she played to us one day. I have never laughed so much in my life. The amount of things the Medium got wrong far outweighed the things he got right. But because my M.I.L wanted to believe so much she only concentrated on the things he got right. Even the right things were dubious. 'I'm getting the letter V, is there a V in your family?' M.I.L replys 'Oh yes, my great Auntie Victoria, died when I was about 4, ohhhh amazing'.

Soppy date.

This thread has reminded me of something that the great medium Septic Peg once said on her brief slot before the lottery draw.. "this weeks lottery winner will be a man...................or a woman!"
