My Ipod's froze

Hi, just bought a docking station and had my i pod playing in it. was fiddling about with it and when i put it back on it started charging. However it has totally froze....in charge mode and screen light is lit and won't go off either. Plugged it in2 computer but itunes doen't recognise it. Can any1 help....give me some suggestions to get it working again. So annoyed. Many thanks Jo

You don't say which model of iPod you have but try this:

1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)

2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

thanks 4 getting back so quick....its a 30 gb video i pod. Could cry! I'll give that a wee try. Thanks again
If the above doesn't work you'll just have to wait until the battery runs out, then connect it to iTunes. Should work.

mine does that all the time since i got a docking station i just let the battery run out as suggested above but it is annoying
